Founded in December of 2024, we strive to be different from the competition. With great prices and incredible customer service, come to us for your firearm needs. You may know some of us from Carolina Firearms which was based in Tramway, North Carolina. Our team is small but dedicated.

Alan Rives (Owner)

Alan is the proprieter of Lee County Firearms. He assembled a team consisting of the best of the best to handle managing and running this brand new firearms shop in Sanford, NC.

William "Bill" Harman (Store Manager)

Bill is the Manager of Lee County Firearms, appointed personally by Alan. He was a Major at the Siler City Police Department, being on the force for 34 years. After retiring, he helped run and manage a gun shop in Tramway, NC known as Carolina Firearms for 10 years. After the owner passed and the store was closed, he is now the proud Manager here at LCF. He is happy to assist you in anything you need when it comes to firearms.

Rex Chezem (Assistant Store Manager)

After a lengthy career with Duke Power (once known as Progress Energy), Rex retired in 2019. He worked for 38 years in the Engineering Department, Mechanical Engineering Section at the Sharon Harris Nuclear Power Plant just south of Apex, NC. His love of how things work mechanically translated to his passion for firearms. In addition, he was the son of a career Army Officer who made certain that firearms would be something that he would learn and understand. Rex is the Assistant Manager at Lee County Firearms and looks forward to assisting you in your firearms related needs. Be warned, Rex is all about HK firearms, but he will still sell you another brand... if you insist. Joking aside, please feel free to ask him any questions that you may have about firearms. He loves to help other people in any way that he can!

Zachary "Zack" Harman (Senior Sales Associate)

Zack Harman is a gun nut and he is the son of Bill Harman. He is extremely personable and is eager to help you make the right purchasing decisions. If you are not sure what you are looking for or what you need, Zack is your man! He is very knowledgeable and will be more than able to guide you through choosing what is best for you if you are not sure about something!

Chris "The Nerd" Chezem (Back Office / IT / Web Design)

Chris is the real brains behind the operation, hence the nickname! Truthfully, Chris is responsible for the back end operations of the company. This includes back office retail operations management, IT, general support, and website development. Son of Rex Chezem, Chris is a lover of all things 1911 when it comes to firearms. His favorite handgun is a Springfield Armory Ronin 1911 9mm. In his free time, he enjoys time at the range and taking his 2024 Honda Rebel 1100 motorcycle for a cruise. He also works at OfficeMax here in Sanford as the Print Services Manager!
