NFA Items: Silencers, Short Barreled Rifles and Short Barreled Shotguns
Lee County Firearms is an NFA "Class 3" Dealer. We sell NFA Class 3 items (such as silencers) and can assist in the
purchase and or transfer of these items.
With respect to silencers, Lee County Firearms is an authorized dealer for Silencer Shop and has a Silencer Shop kiosk on premises to facilitate the purchase of silencers. The Silencer Shop kiosk makes the process easier than the "old school" method of manual fingerprints and paper ATF Forms. Through the use of the kiosk and or the Silencer Shop website, versus the manual paper method, the process has been reduced from possibly months to just days!
To take advantage of the Silencer Shop kiosk simplified purchase process, please read and perform the following instructions:
With the aforementioned steps out of the way, you can now proceed with selecting and purchasing the silencer you're looking for! Once you decide on the silencer you wish to purchase (whether it's already on site at Lee County Firearms or it's something we order for you), you will pay for the silencer AFTER deciding which one you would like.
The make, model, brand, and serial number for the specified silencer being purchased is then used in the final steps of preparing, certifying, and submitting the associated ATF Form 4. Once the ATF Form 4 has been electronically drafted by Silencer Shop, the process of certifying and submitting the final ATF Form 4 can be done. This activity generally takes 15 to 30 minutes during normal business hours.
Now... WE WAIT ON UNCLE SAM. 🙁
After your 2nd Amendment freedoms have been infringed upon long enough and you receive your "zero dollar" Tax Stamp (approved ATF Form 4), the final step is to document the official transfer of the silencer from Lee County Firearms to you the customer via ATF Form 4473.
CONGRATULATIONS! Now it's time to take your new silencer home and make some noise! Well, a lot less noise!
You can also optionally purchase a $25 "One Shot Trust" (if applicable) paid to Silencer Shop.
In addition to the above fees, if the customer is purchasing a silencer from another NFA or Silencer dealer:
$75 Transfer Fee paid to Lee County Firearms for facilitating the transfer.

| 1) | Create a Silencer Shop user account and an ATF E-Forms account. This can be done online with the links below. You can also create a Silencer Shop account in-store at the kiosk. Click here to go to the ATF E-Forms website. Click here to go to Silencer Shop's website. |
| 2) | When registering for your ATF E-Forms account, your email, full name, and address MUST match your Silencer Shop profile information exactly! |
| 3) | Visit us at Lee County Firearms in store to complete your Silencer Shop Profile using the kiosk. This will involve answering several questions and taking electronic fingerprints. You will also want to download the Silencer Shop app on your mobile phone and use that app to upload a "passport format" picture of yourself. |
| 4) | Silencer Shop will email a document to you with all of your relevant information. Please review all of the information for accuracy and digitally sign the file from your computer or mobile device. |
